Well folks, our latest round of live dates kicked off last Wed @ Fuzionin East Kilbride. There was a fantastic atmosphere and lots of dancing. Thanks to the East Kilbrilliants that showed support, we will certainly be back again soon!
On Friday it was on to Soho in Paisley. We had a great response from everyone there. Thanks to the wonderful girls behind the bar, there were a few rum and cokes and then it was back to the ‘Burgh for Untitled @ Sneaky Pete’s.
The very next day we hopped over the border to Carlisle to support the amazing Burn the Negative @ Club Concrete. We went on to a packed crowd and there was plenty of Dancing (Typically, by a friendly crowd of Glaswegians). Next, Burn the Negative took to the stage and their bass beats and stomping sound got the crowd jumping. Sadly, due to some random dashboard light coming on in our van, we had to beat a hasty retreat back to Edinburgh, in fear of breaking down on the hard shoulder of the M74 at 4 in the morning…needless to say, we didn’t.
Tuesday saw us play a gig quite like no other. We played at The Peoples Festival, which saw us visiting Saughton Prisonin Edinburgh to play some songs for some of the guys there. We were of course suitably nervous on our arrival, but were made to feel more than welcome by staff and inmates alike. We played to a very receptive crowd, and we’d like to extend our Thanks to everyone at Saughton Prison, staff and inmates, for letting us come along and play for them.
On Wednesday, we’ll be supporting New York dance duo Telepathe at Sneaky Pete’s as part of The Edge Festival, and then before our gig at GRV on Saturday for the GRV Festival, we’ll be revisiting Leith FM to play a full band set.
These are our first Edinburgh gigs in a while, be sure to get down there for some dancing and debauchery!
